Practice Makes Perfect is a publication written by Rosa-John Uddoh published by Book Works (2022): “Comprising of new writing and works drawn from, and a part of, Uddoh’s 2021 exhibition at Focal Point Gallery, Practice Makes Perfect focuses on themes of radical self-love, inspired by black feminist practice and writing.”
The publication was designed by Rose Nordin in close collaboration with Rosa-Johan Uddoh, with accompanying stickers and pull out poster. Rose supported on the graphic and material design of the exhibition of the same name — specifically on large-scale scrolls, an animated teleprompter and window display wall text to support Rosa-Johan’s generous vision.
